Climate Appraisal

A climate appraisal as can be requested at Climate Appraisal Services, LLC (ClimateAppraisal.com), is a unique address-based report for a specific property on climate change (from global warming) and other environmental risks. Information in a climate appraisal report enables property owners and/or buyers to assess for themselves how climate change risks could impact a specific property address in the future, utilizing both historical and projected data from scientific modeling to display those potential risks.

A climate appraisal report includes historical and projected information in the following categories: shoreline reduction from sea level rise, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, volcanoes, drought, wildfire, flooding, disease, and industrial pollution. A report integrates a wide range of environmental risk information after geocoding an input property address, and combines it with regional commentary from scientists. In the category of sea level rise for coastline states, a report contains a map of an address assuming a 3 foot sea level rise this century to a resolution of 5 miles by 5 miles, and illustrates whether or not it could be submerged from climate change.
